Is there a Breath of Estova airdrop?
No. The current website and litepaper don't mention a token, a ticker or an airdrop. What's open is a free pre-registration, which started on 25 September 2026 and pays in-game items when the game launches.
Older official material did describe a token. Docs pages archived in May 2025 said players could earn a token called $ESTOVA from quests, dungeons and life skills, and the project's X account mentioned it in 2024 and 2025. Those pages are gone from the docs, and the studio hasn't said whether the token is still planned.
What Breath of Estova is
Breath of Estova is a 2D pixel-art action MMORPG from Estova Studios that runs on Monad. It has real-time combat, five life skills (Fishing, Cooking, Mining, Woodcutting and Faith) and Expeditions for one to four players. Items you own, starting with trading cards, are NFTs on Monad.
The Public Alpha launches in the browser, with mobile to follow. The site dates it only "Early October" 2026, and on 1 October the team said the head start for founder pack buyers was less than two weeks away. Test builds ran on Monad Testnet in 2025. When we checked on 4 October 2026, the game's address didn't load.
How Breath of Estova rewards work
Pre-registering reserves a starter bundle: one Double XP Potion that lasts an hour, 500 Gold and two Health Potions. You get it the first time you enter the game.
Referrals pay in gems, the currency of the in-game shop. You and a friend each get 200 gems once the friend reaches level 5, and five friends at level 5 unlock a Baby Hippo mount. The studio sells gems at about 100 for $1 and states no value for them outside the game.
After launch there will be five weekly life-skill leaderboards. The docs say whoever climbs highest "takes a share of what Estova earns", without naming a currency, an amount or how many players are paid.
Breath of Estova airdrop step-by-step guide
- Open the pre-registration page, enter your email and press "Send my code". You don't need a wallet or a password.
- Type in the six-digit code from the email. It expires after ten minutes.
- Copy your referral link if you want gems. A referral only pays once your friend reaches level 5 in the game.
- Follow @BreathOfEstova for the launch day, which isn't published yet.
- At launch, press "Enter Estova" on the site to collect the bundle.

Breath of Estova costs and fees
Pre-registration is free and needs only an email address. Everything else is optional and costs real money. Founder packs cost $19.99, $49.99 or $99.99 and come with a head start of three, five or seven days. Genesis card packs cost $25 each. Both are paid in MON or USDC on Monad. The docs say everything in the shop can also be earned by playing.
Warning Card packs and founder packs cost real money and are on sale before a public build is playable. You don't need either to pre-register.
Breath of Estova risks and eligibility
- There is no token and no airdrop. The pre-registration and referral rewards are in-game items.
- The $ESTOVA token was removed from the docs without an explanation.
- The launch has no exact date.
- The docs say cards, skins and cosmetics "are not investments" and promise no profit.
- The weekly revenue share has no published numbers.
- We found no terms of service, privacy policy, age rule or list of restricted countries, although the site collects emails and takes payments.
Who is behind Breath of Estova?
Estova Studios makes the game. The only person we could identify is the founder, who goes by Ketama on X. He says a registered company exists in his name, but no legal entity or team page is published.
In a September 2026 post, Ketama wrote that the studio was funded by a community raise and then by rounds that included Monad's co-founders and more than 40 others. He gave no amount, and we found no news report of a round. In January 2025 the project said it had been accepted into Mach 2, Monad's NFT accelerator.
