Is there a Hyperliquid airdrop?

There was one, and no second round has been announced. Hyperliquid launched its HYPE token on 29 November 2024. The Block reported that 310 million HYPE, 31% of the 1 billion supply, went to users who had earned points. The tokens were fully unlocked, and nothing was allocated to private investors, centralized exchanges or market makers. Hyperliquid's docs describe the points program: 1,000,000 points a week from 1 November 2023 to 1 May 2024, then 700,000 a week from 29 May 2024 until November 2024.

The docs list no points program since then. The Block's breakdown put 38.8% of supply, 388 million HYPE, under future emissions and community rewards, which is why people search for a season 2 airdrop. We found no announcement from the Hyper Foundation or Hyperliquid Labs of a second distribution, a snapshot or new points. No official eligibility checker exists either.

How Hyperliquid ecosystem airdrops work

The live programs belong to apps built on Hyperliquid. Some sit on HyperEVM, its smart contract layer, which went live on 18 February 2025. Others are trading apps on its order books. Dreamcash splits a fixed XP pool every Thursday by trading volume in its own apps. Valantis paid weekly points for its pools and for holding stHYPE, and finished those payouts in June 2026. Neither describes a token in its docs.

Programs also close. Hyperbeat's app says its final Hearts distribution was completed on 4 November 2025.

How to qualify for Hyperliquid airdrops: step by step

  1. Fund a wallet and keep some HYPE, the gas token on HyperEVM.
  2. Pick a program that is still paying out and read its rules. Dreamcash counts volume in its mobile app at 1x and in its web app at 0.5x. Trades placed on Hyperliquid's own frontend earn no XP.
  3. Use one wallet. Dreamcash can void XP for linked wallet farming, wash trading and self-referrals.
  4. Track your balance on the project's own points page.
  5. Ignore any site offering a season 2 HYPE claim or checker. No second round exists to check.

Hyperliquid airdrop risks

  • A second HYPE airdrop may never happen. We found no published plan for the reserved supply.
  • Points are not tokens. Dreamcash's legal notice says XP has no monetary value and guarantees no rewards.
  • Trading for points costs fees, and leverage can wipe out a deposit. Dreamcash offers perpetuals with up to 40x leverage.
  • Rules are opaque. Valantis says it will never publish its points formula and can disqualify addresses for malicious activity.
  • Nothing here is financial advice.
