Is there a Liquid airdrop?

Not officially. Liquid runs a points program, and its docs say the points "reward early traders and contributors". We found no token or airdrop announcement in the docs, the terms of service or the coverage of its two funding rounds.

What Liquid is

Liquid is a non-custodial trading app for web, iOS and Android. It lists perpetual futures on crypto, stocks, commodities, FX and indices, along with prediction markets, and leverage goes up to 50x depending on the market. Its terms of service describe the app as an interface to the Hyperliquid protocol. The fee page shows that some real-world asset markets are routed to Ostium and some markets to Lighter.

How Liquid points work

Points go out in proportion to each user's contribution. The formula is proprietary, and the docs say it weighs trading activity, referrals and engagement across Liquid's products. Season 0 distributed 600,000 points and Season 0.5 distributed 200,000. Season 1 distributes 100,000 points every week. Trades in every market type count.

Liquid airdrop step-by-step guide

  1. Create an account at app.liquid.trade. The FAQ says Liquid doesn't require KYC to trade.
  2. Deposit. Crypto deposits are free, and card or bank deposits may carry a fee from the payment provider.
  3. Open a position. The minimum is $10 of collateral.
  4. Follow your rank and points on the Leaderboard, which is where the docs say they appear.

Liquid costs and fees

On perpetuals Liquid adds 0.05% to the venue's base fee. The all-in rate at the entry tier is 0.095% for takers and 0.065% for makers. On Ostium-routed markets Liquid adds 0.05% to Ostium's own fee, which is charged on entry only. Lighter-routed trades carry no Liquid fee. Selling a prediction market contract costs 0.9%, and withdrawing USDC costs a flat $1.

Liquid risks and eligibility

  • The terms require users to be at least 18. They bar residents of Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and other embargoed countries.
  • No token is announced, so points may never convert into anything.
  • Leverage magnifies losses, and a liquidation can cost more than the points are worth.
  • Outside venues execute and settle the trades. The terms say Liquid does not guarantee that a venue will execute or settle a transaction.

Who is behind Liquid?

LiquidX AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operates the app. Its founder is Franklyn Wang, a former quantitative researcher at Two Sigma. The Block reported a $7.6 million seed round led by Paradigm in November 2025 and described Liquid as an aggregator of Hyperliquid, Lighter and Ostium. In April 2026 Fortune reported an $18 million Series A co-led by Neo and Left Lane Capital, which brought total funding to $25.6 million.
