DOHM Finance airdrop guide

DOHM Finance, a reserve currency on Bitcoin, has confirmed a $DOHM airdrop but said you had to buy in its bonding sale to qualify. That sale closed on 1 October 2026. The testnet is free and still gives points.

Is there a DOHM Finance airdrop?

DOHM Finance has confirmed one, but the way in is closed for now. When its testnet opened on 6 August 2026, the project wrote: "Points will be used toward the upcoming $DOHM airdrop." On 18 September it added a condition: "To qualify for the $DOHM airdrop, users must participate in DOHM Bonding with the minimum amount."

Bonding was a real-money sale of DOHM at a fixed $5. It closed on 1 October 2026, and the project said bonding "will then not be available until mainnet goes live". No airdrop size, snapshot or claim date has been published. The token and mainnet are "expected October 2026", with no day given.

Warning This is a pay-to-qualify airdrop whose paid window has shut. If you didn't bond before 1 October, nothing DOHM has published says free testnet points alone will count. The docs say points "are not claimable or redeemable on their own, and confer no protocol rights".

What DOHM Finance is

DOHM calls itself "a decentralized, treasury-backed reserve currency built natively on Bitcoin via the Alkanes metaprotocol". The treasury sells DOHM through bonds, keeps what it receives as backing, and pays stakers through regular rebases. The site uses the "(3,3)" slogan. It is the same bond, stake and rebase design that Olympus made known, though DOHM's own pages don't mention Olympus.

The docs are frank about the limits. They say there is no way to redeem DOHM for the reserves, and that "DOHM can trade below the floor".

How DOHM Finance testnet points work

The testnet runs on a private Bitcoin test network with free coins. Each confirmed action earns one point: bonding, staking, unstaking, claiming and redeeming. A swap into frBTC counts once a day, and so does adding or removing liquidity in each pool. Activity on three days in a row adds 5%, and linking a mainnet Bitcoin wallet that holds FIRE, DIESEL or frBTC adds 10%.

The scoring isn't settled. The docs give different point values on different pages, say the formula "may change", and the project has admitted that points tracking broke under load.

DOHM Finance airdrop step-by-step guide

  1. Open testnet.dohm.finance and create the built-in testnet wallet. It lives in your browser and gives you a 12-word recovery phrase.

Warning Keep this wallet for the testnet only. The app says: "Never send mainnet BTC or real funds to this address." Don't type the recovery phrase of a real wallet into it.

  2. Click Get BTC and Get frBTC to receive free test coins.
  3. Bond frBTC, then stake, unstake, claim and redeem. Each confirmed action earns a point.
  4. Swap into frBTC once a day and come back on consecutive days for the streak bonus.
  5. Optional: on the Link page, link a mainnet Bitcoin wallet by signing a message. No transaction is sent.
  6. Follow @DohmFinance on X for the token launch, mainnet and airdrop terms. None are published yet.

DOHM Finance airdrop costs and fees

The testnet is free, and its coins have no value. Two things cost real money. The first was the bonding sale, now closed, which took BTC, frBTC, frUSD, USDT, USDC, DIESEL and FIRE. The second is an optional quest that still runs: wrapping real BTC into frBTC on Subfrost, with a $5 minimum, for up to 100 points.

Warning The wrapping quest spends real bitcoin and mainnet fees for points that carry no stated value. Skip it unless you wanted frBTC anyway.

DOHM Finance airdrop risks and eligibility

  • The sale site, bond.dohm.finance, couldn't load its data when we checked on 8 October 2026, so buyers couldn't see their allocation there.
  • No audit report has been published, although the sale took real money.
  • We found no terms of service, privacy policy, country list or KYC rule. The sale page says "Terms and conditions apply" without linking any.
  • The docs warn that staking rewards can be zero and that nothing guarantees a yield.
  • The domain and the X account were both created on 26 May 2026.

Who is behind DOHM Finance?

Nobody is named. The site, docs and sale page give no founder, company or country, and no investors are listed. The sale announcement says about half of the proceeds seeds the treasury and liquidity, and that a portion pays for audits, development and team operations. The project's own figures put the testnet at more than 58,000 users on 6 October 2026.
