Minehood is a pixel-art mining game planned for Robinhood Chain that can't be played yet. Its waitlist gives XP for following and reposting on X. No token, airdrop or prize is promised.

Is there a Minehood airdrop?

No. Minehood has announced no token and no airdrop. Its site, its guide page, its leaderboard and its posts on X say nothing about one, and they don't rule one out either.

The one new thing is an NFT collection, announced only on X on 15 October 2026: "4,444 unique pixel Miners are about to break out of the mine." The post adds "More details dropping soon." and, about the waitlist tasks, "It might just pay off." No price, date, chain or use for the NFTs has been published.

Warning Don't pay for or mint anything called Minehood until the details appear on minehood.io. The site says: "Minehood never asks for token approvals or your seed phrase."

What Minehood is

The site says: "Minehood is a skill-based pixel-art mining game. Dig six mines, fight six bosses, craft, trade and own your miner." Between runs, players meet in a shared town called the Central Hub.

It can't be played yet. The Play button says: "We are digging right now. Please come back later!" Its roadmap has ten phases and no dates: "No dates until they are real." Wallet sign-in is at the stage "Tested end to end on a local chain." The FAQ says: "There is no date yet." The website and the X account were both created on 30 September 2026.

The last phase reads: "Minehood opens on Robinhood Chain." The X bio says "Coming soon to @RobinhoodApp", but the chain isn't the app. Robinhood says: "Robinhood Chain operates independently of the main Robinhood app and doesn't affect your investments, crypto balances, or portfolio". We found nothing from Robinhood about Minehood.

How the Minehood waitlist XP works

The waitlist opened on 9 October and gives XP for tasks on X. Following @minehood_rh is worth 50 XP. On each task post, a like is worth 10, a reply 20 and a repost 30. The leaderboard says: "Every confirmed task earns XP. New posts bring new tasks." Ties go to whoever joined first: "On a tie, the earlier miner stays ahead."

When we checked on 16 October, 6,655 people were on the list. The top score was 470 XP, and 54 of the first 100 were tied on it. Nothing says what the leaderboard wins. No prize, whitelist, NFT spot or token is attached to it in writing.

Minehood airdrop step-by-step guide

There's no airdrop to qualify for. These steps put you on the waitlist.

  1. Open minehood.io, the only site linked from @minehood_rh, and press Connect X. The site warns that "X's own sign in page lists wider read access because X offers no narrower choice for this kind of sign in. We use none of it."
  2. Follow @minehood_rh, then like, reply to and repost the task post, confirming each one on the site.
  3. Type your public ETH wallet address. The site says: "We only need your public address. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and we will never ask you to sign or send anything here."

Warning The FAQ says: "Anyone asking for more is not us." A Telegram channel called minehood belongs to an unrelated Minecraft server, and the site links no Telegram or Discord at all.

  4. Press Join the waitlist, then check @minehood_rh for new task posts, which add XP.
  5. Wait for the game. The site says: "We will reach out on X when the doors open."

Minehood costs and fees

The waitlist is free: it needs an X account and a public wallet address, with no payment and no gas. For the game, the FAQ says "Walking the Central Hub, meeting the NPCs and taking the portals cost nothing", and "Sword and armor upgrades and crafting cost only resources." It also says "deposits are plain transfers you send yourself", without giving an amount or a token. Gas on Robinhood Chain is paid in ETH. The NFT price isn't published.

Minehood risks and eligibility

  • There are no terms of use, no country list and no age limit. The only legal text is a short privacy section.
  • The site says it keeps "your X account id, your @handle (also your name on the list), your public wallet address and when you marked a task done. Nothing else."
  • To leave, the site says to "Sign out on the waitlist panel, remove Minehood under connected apps in your X settings, and send us a message on X (@minehood_rh) to delete your entry."
  • All the XP comes from promoting Minehood on X, and nothing is promised in return.
  • The founder's own posts push urgency, such as "Early days. Get in early!"

Who is behind Minehood?

The site says only "A game by the Minehood team." An X account called @ufukless1, "Ufuk", describes himself as "Founder @minehood_rh", though the official account doesn't name him. On 9 October he wrote: "For the past month, I've been working with @claudeai to bring my own project to life". Crypto Economy reported in April 2026 that he made an earlier NFT collection, "One Mint, One Hope", whose minters later got tokens from a different project, RaveDAO. That was not a Minehood reward. No company, investors or audit are named.
