Stablecoin factory airdrop · Airdrop guide

Monolith airdrop guide

Monolith is a permissionless stablecoin factory on Ethereum built by Inverse Finance DAO, and swanUSD is the first stablecoin launched on it with its own DAO. Addresses on a fixed 19 October snapshot list earn an equal share of 100,000 SWAN by holding 1,000 sSwanUSD for 7 days, and anyone can earn SWAN by staking sSwanUSD. Monolith has no token; SWAN is confirmed but has no price or claim date yet.

Is there a Monolith airdrop?

Yes, but not of a Monolith token, and not for everyone. Monolith itself has no token. The airdrop is for SWAN, the governance token of swanUSD, the first stablecoin launched on Monolith with a DAO of its own. In Monolith's words: "100,000 SWAN, 1% of supply, will be distributed equally to qualifying wallets across our launch partner communities."

The catch is the list. "Only addresses on the snapshot list can qualify." That list was taken on 19 October 2026 from holders of Curve, Convex, Yearn, Stake DAO and Inverse positions, and it is closed: "The snapshot list is final. There is no review process for addresses that are not on it." If your address is not on it, you can still earn SWAN by staking, which is covered below, but not the launch airdrop.

What Monolith is

"Monolith is a permissionless protocol for launching stablecoins on Ethereum mainnet." Anyone can deploy a stablecoin backed by one collateral token, with a staking vault, and since 5 October 2026 with a DAO and governance token too: "Monolith DAOs are here. Every new Monolith stablecoin can launch with a DAO of its own, in one transaction."

It comes from the team behind Inverse Finance: "Monolith is built by the creators of Inverse.Finance DAO, DOLA stablecoin and FiRM fixed rate lending protocol." Inverse announced it live on 27 April 2026 and described it as "Developed, launched and owned by Inverse DAO."

swanUSD went live on 22 October 2026. Its site sums it up: "Deposit wstETH to mint swanUSD, stake it as sSwanUSD to earn interest, and deposit sSwanUSD to earn SWAN." It also offers "1:1 swaps with sUSDS".

The numbers are small. On 24 October Monolith posted "$600K locked in Monolith." and added: "swanUSD is less than two days old and already accounts for over $240K of it."

How the Monolith airdrop works

The SWAN launch airdrop opened on 22 October 2026 at 16:00 UTC. A listed address qualifies by holding at least 1,000 sSwanUSD, the staked form of swanUSD, for 7 days in a row. "Each eligible wallet can complete its own 7-day holding period by 19 November at 16:00 UTC. The latest start is 12 November at 16:00 UTC."

  • Staking is required: "The launch airdrop distributes SWAN. Holding unstaked swanUSD alone does not qualify."
  • The count is in tokens: "The threshold is measured in sSwanUSD token units, not dollar value or the underlying swanUSD amount." Since "Each sSwanUSD is worth a little more than 1 swanUSD", stake slightly more than 1,000 swanUSD.
  • Both places count: "sSwanUSD held directly and sSwanUSD deposited in the SWAN-rewards staking contract both count, added together".
  • You can leave once done: "After completing a run, an address does not need to keep holding until the campaign ends."
  • Shares are equal: "Larger balances do not increase the allocation. Wallets are deduplicated across communities." And "This is one reward per address, not per person."

Claims come later. "The claim opening date and expiry will be announced." Once that expiry passes, "After the expiry, unclaimed SWAN can be recovered by the team."

For addresses not on the list, the open route is SWAN emissions: deposit sSwanUSD in the SWAN-rewards staking contract and it earns SWAN over time, alongside vault interest from borrowers. Each Monolith DAO has a "governance token with a fixed supply of 10,000,000", and the design pays "GOV emissions to Coin stakers in yearly tranches". Monolith warns: "Rewards and revenue vary and are not guaranteed."

Monolith airdrop step-by-step guide

These steps are for the SWAN launch airdrop. If your address is not on the snapshot list, only steps 2 to 4 apply, and they earn SWAN emissions instead.

  1. Open swanusd.com/airdrop from a link you typed yourself and enter your Ethereum address in the checker. If it is not listed, it cannot qualify for the launch pool.
  2. Get swanUSD. Either mint it on app.monolith.market by depositing wstETH as collateral, or swap sUSDS for it 1:1.

Warning Minting swanUSD is a loan against wstETH. If ETH falls, your collateral can be liquidated. With free debt, Monolith says: "Choose free debt if you want 0% interest and accept that redemptions can seize collateral while repaying your debt."

  3. Stake a little over 1,000 swanUSD to get at least 1,000 sSwanUSD.
  4. Optionally deposit the sSwanUSD in SWAN-rewards staking. It still counts for the airdrop and also earns SWAN emissions.
  5. Keep at least 1,000 sSwanUSD for 7 full days. Start no later than 12 November 2026 at 16:00 UTC.
  6. Watch @MonolithMarket for the claim date, then claim before the expiry. Monolith says it never sends DMs first, so ignore anyone who messages you with a claim link.

Monolith airdrop costs and fees

There is no entry fee, but you need about $1,000 or more in sSwanUSD locked up for at least 7 days, and every step pays Ethereum mainnet gas: minting or swapping, staking, depositing and claiming. If you mint, paid debt carries a variable interest rate and free debt is 0% but can be redeemed against your collateral. Liquidations carry a penalty of up to 10%. Monolith has not published swanUSD's minimum loan size or current rates on a page we could read.

The reward is small and unpriced. 100,000 SWAN is split equally among the addresses that finish a run, and SWAN has no published price or trading venue.

Monolith airdrop risks and eligibility

  • The airdrop is closed to newcomers. Only the 12,078 addresses on the 19 October 2026 snapshot can qualify, and there is no appeal.
  • No terms of service, legal entity, excluded countries, age rule or KYC policy are published for Monolith or swanUSD. The airdrop has campaign terms only.
  • Monolith's risk page says: "Only deploy capital you are prepared to lose." The app adds: "This is an experimental protocol. Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities."
  • If a borrower's loan goes bad, "the resulting bad debt is socialized across all active borrowers in the system".
  • Audits: Monolith lists "four human-led engagements plus three AI-assisted reviews". The DAO and staking-rewards contracts that SWAN uses are not named in that list.
  • The factory is open to anyone: "Not all instances are created or endorsed by the Monolith core team." Use only swanusd.com and app.monolith.market, not a look-alike coin.
  • Once deployed, contracts cannot be frozen: "There is no pause, blacklist, or upgrade hook in any Monolith contracts." swanUSD's rules become "Immutable within four years at most."
  • Liquidity is thin. With about $600K locked across Monolith, exiting swanUSD or selling SWAN could be hard.

Who is behind Monolith?

Monolith is built and owned by Inverse Finance DAO, the group behind the DOLA stablecoin and FiRM. The code's author is Nour Haridy, who introduced it on X on 6 March 2025: "Excited to finally unveil Monolith, a permissionless stablecoin deployment platform". The launch was paid for by Inverse itself; a forum proposal that month asked to "Approve 332,052 DOLA to Product Working Group multisig". We found no outside investors and no legal entity for Monolith. Under Monolith's DAO design, it keeps a share of every DAO's token: "Fixed 2% (200 bps) into Monolith vesting (4-year linear)".
