Polyester airdrop guide

Polyester, an order-book exchange on its own chain, opened a free public testnet on 24 September 2026. It hands out daily practice funds and plans prize events, and its terms say testnet activity gives no right to a token or airdrop.

Is there a Polyester airdrop?

No. Polyester's docs mention a token, $P, only as the gas asset of its chain, and they say you don't need to hold it because Polyester pays the gas. No supply, sale, launch date or airdrop has been published. The terms say: "Nothing on a Testnet implies any entitlement to a future token, airdrop, or allocation."

What Polyester has promised is prizes. Its launch post says the testnet will bring "giveaways, trading competitions, and community promotions with real money prizes". One has paid out so far: on 2 October 2026 Beluga, a marketing partner, said the ZEC rewards from its Polyester giveaway had been distributed. No rules or prize amounts are published for any other event yet.

What Polyester is

Polyester describes itself as a decentralized spot and lending exchange built on its own chain, an EVM-compatible Layer 1. Trading runs on order books. Deposits from other chains come in through Zipper, which issues an asset on Polyester Chain backed 1:1 by the original.

The public testnet went live on 24 September 2026 with 18 spot markets, and it accepts test coins from networks including Bitcoin, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and Solana. Polyester has given no mainnet date. The docs also describe lending, but the testnet had no working lending page when we checked on 7 October 2026.

How Polyester rewards work

The testnet hands out Paper Assets, practice balances that the launch post says have "no real monetary value". You claim them once a day after connecting both your X and Discord accounts. The first day's reward is roughly $1,000 worth of Paper Bitcoin and 1,000 Paper USDT. New rewards unlock for everyone at the same time each day, and the app shows a countdown.

There is no points system and no leaderboard page yet. A referral gives your friend 4% off trading fees and gives you 15% of the fees they pay, which on the testnet are paid in test assets.

Polyester airdrop step-by-step guide

Warning Never send real coins. The launch post says the testnet "does not accept real money or mainnet assets", and its deposit addresses are for test networks only.

  1. Open testnet.polyester.com and sign in with Google, email, MetaMask, Rabby, Phantom or WalletConnect. Signing in costs no gas.

Warning Choose the sign-in method carefully. The docs say you can't replace or unlink it later, or close or delete the account.

  2. Pick a username from the suggestions and finish the welcome screens.
  3. Under Security, add a passkey or an authenticator app and save the recovery codes. The docs recommend this, and it is optional.
  4. Connect your X and Discord accounts when the daily reward prompt asks. You need both to claim.

Warning Polyester records that the X and Discord handles are yours, and its privacy policy says profile fields are visible to other users.

  5. Press Claim in the daily reward prompt, or "Claim reward" in the navigation bar. Come back when the countdown reaches the next release.
  6. Open Trade, choose a spot market such as BTC/USDT, and place an order with your Paper Assets.
  7. Optional: get coins from one of the testnet faucets the docs list and try a deposit and a withdrawal.
  8. Watch the Announcements page and @polyester on X for the rules of each giveaway or competition.

Polyester costs and fees

Nothing. The testnet takes no real money, Polyester pays the gas, and trading fees are charged in test assets.

Polyester risks and eligibility

  • No token or airdrop is promised, and the terms rule out any entitlement from testnet activity.
  • Testnet balances and rewards "have no monetary value and are not redeemable", and Polyester can reset or wipe the testnet at any time without notice.
  • Only a prize that is promised in the rules of a specific event counts. Using several accounts or automation to gain an advantage can void it.
  • You must be 18 or older. Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk are restricted, and hiding your location with a VPN is prohibited. No identity check is required.
  • The two published audits, by Trail of Bits and Pashov Audit Group in May 2025, cover Zipper only. Nothing is published for the exchange engine or the chain.

Who is behind Polyester?

No person is named on Polyester's own pages. The terms name three entities: Polyester Panama S.A., the contracting company; Polyester Foundation in the Cayman Islands; and Fabric Blockchain Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation that developed part of the software. We found no funding round or investor list. Beluga, which ran the giveaway, discloses a marketing partnership with Fabric Labs and says its own chief executive is an investor.
