Is there an Arc airdrop?

Not officially. Circle minted the full initial supply of 10 billion ARC tokens in September 2026, but its launch announcement says the mint "is not a commitment to publicly launch ARC". Circle hasn't announced an airdrop, and the Arc House rules don't tie community points to a token.

Circle designed ARC to coordinate security, utility and governance on Arc as the network explores a move from proof of authority to proof of stake in 2027. Network fees stay payable in USDC either way.

What Arc is

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain built by Circle, the company that issues USDC. You pay fees in USDC instead of a volatile gas token, and the chain is EVM compatible. Mainnet went live on 16 September 2026 with more than 100 institutional and ecosystem builders, according to Circle.

The same announcement counts more than 75,000 active Arc House members, 10,000 Architect ambassadors and over 1,200 projects built on Arc. It also says the testnet handled more than 700 million transactions in under a year.

How Arc House points work

Arc House, at community.arc.io, is Arc's community site. Its published rules pay points for these activities:

ActivityPointsLimit
Finish the onboarding profile50Once
Visit the community1Per day
Publish a forum post102 a day
Comment or reply52 a day
Have a comment marked as the accepted answer301 a day

The large amounts come from organizing, speaking and writing. Daily activity adds up slowly: hitting the caps on posts, comments, reading, videos and visits comes to 67 points a day. Arc also runs the Architects ambassador program, which it introduced alongside Arc House in March 2026.

Arc airdrop step-by-step guide

  1. Join Arc House and finish the onboarding profile for your first 50 points.
  2. Spend your time where the points are: events, useful forum answers and original articles.
  3. If you build, get free testnet USDC from Circle's faucet and deploy on the Arc testnet.
  4. Add Arc mainnet to your wallet and try its apps. Gas is paid in USDC, so a small balance is enough.

Arc costs and fees

Arc House and the testnet are free. Using apps on mainnet costs a small amount of USDC in fees.

Arc risks

  • No airdrop has been announced, and Circle says the ARC mint is not a commitment to a public launch.
  • Arc House points reward community activity. The rules page doesn't link them to any token.
  • Apps on the new mainnet are built by other teams, and each one carries its own smart contract risk.

Who is behind Arc?

Arc is built by Circle Internet Group, a publicly traded company and the issuer of USDC. In May 2026 The Block reported that Circle raised $222 million in an ARC token presale at a $3 billion fully diluted valuation, with a16z crypto and BlackRock among the buyers.
