Checker live The $CHIMP airdrop checker opened on 28 October 2026, the day ChimpX set for its Pump.fun launch. The claim isn't open yet; take the token's contract address only from @ChimpxAI.
Is there a ChimpX airdrop?
Yes. ChimpX, the project that started as Chimp Exchange, confirmed its $CHIMP airdrop and opened a checker on 28 October 2026: "The $CHIMP airdrop checker is LIVE." It set the token launch for the same day: "Fair launch on @pumpfun is today. Same start for everyone, no insider edge." When we checked that afternoon, ChimpX hadn't posted a contract address.
Who gets tokens was fixed by a snapshot. The checker says its numbers are "Based on the 9 October 2026 snapshot of 31,028 Solana and BNB Chain wallets." You can't claim yet: "Airdropped $CHIMP unlocks 1 month after launch."
Warning New tokens on Pump.fun attract copies with the same name. Take the $CHIMP contract address only from @ChimpxAI or chimpx.ai, and never connect a wallet to any claim site before ChimpX announces the claim.
What ChimpX is
In 2023 the team launched a DEX on Linea: "Welcome to the Chimp Exchange Mainnet Launch on Linea!" It later renamed itself ChimpX AI, moved to BNB Chain and then Solana ("ChimpX launched on Solana on May 4, 2026."). Its app today is Mojo AI, which takes typed commands for swaps, bridges, lending, perps and prediction bets. The X bio sums it up: "One AI SuperApp that does everything for you in crypto." The old chimp.exchange site no longer loads.
$CHIMP has a supply of 1 billion. The tokenomics post says: "1B total supply. 50% allocated to the community through airdrops, incentives & rewards." The rest goes to the foundation, the team, a public sale, marketing, liquidity and advisors, with "16.25% circulating at launch".
How the ChimpX airdrop works
The airdrop pays for HOOTs, ChimpX's points, which users earned by using Mojo AI, trading, doing social tasks and quests, and through partner campaigns. The checker sets the rate: "Every 1,000 hoots you earned on ChimpX converts to 1 $CHIMP." On top of that, "Wallets that completed the full quest set receive an extra 1,000 $CHIMP, and $CHIMP earned in ChimpDrop and partner campaigns is added on top."
That rate is 100 times worse than ChimpX promised in July 2026. Its blog then said "10 HOOTs = 1 $CHIMP" and "This ratio is fixed. It will not change before TGE." We found no announcement explaining the change.
The app still shows HOOTs tasks after the snapshot, but no page says whether points earned after 9 October count for anything. Allocations stay with the wallet that earned them: "If you no longer have access to that wallet, we are unable to transfer the allocation to a new address."
ChimpX airdrop step-by-step guide
These steps are for wallets that used ChimpX before 9 October 2026.
- Open token.chimpx.ai and scroll to the airdrop checker.
- Paste your Solana or BNB Chain address and press Check. "You'll never be asked to sign or send anything here." A wallet outside the list shows: "This wallet isn't in the snapshot."
- If your allocation is on a BNB Chain wallet, you'll need a Solana wallet too: "How to link it is announced before claims open."
- Wait for the claim, about a month after launch, and follow @ChimpxAI for the date.
Warning ChimpX says: "We will never DM you first. Never share your seed phrase or private keys." Anyone offering an early claim or a sale spot by message is a scammer.

ChimpX airdrop costs and fees
Checking costs nothing and needs no wallet connection. ChimpX hasn't said what claiming will cost; on Solana it should be a small network fee. Earning more HOOTs was never free in practice: the app's free plan charges a "1.0% flat swap fee", monthly plans cost $9 or $19, and a SuperChimp NFT that doubled HOOTs sold for 0.20 SOL.
ChimpX airdrop risks and eligibility
- ChimpX publishes no terms of service, no company name and no list of excluded countries.
- Bots and multi-wallets are cut: "No appeals.No exceptions."
- $CHIMP was sold several times before this launch. In February 2026 ChimpX said it "Raised $100K on @Spores_Network" and promised a "Listing Price: $0.40" on PancakeSwap that never happened. A further public sale was set for 12 October on Metaplex. ChimpX hasn't explained how those buyers get tokens from a Pump.fun fair launch.
- The launch date kept slipping: in May 2026 it was "$CHIMP TGE in Q2 2026."
- Its user numbers don't agree: "13,139 Users" in February, "394,000 users" on the token page now.
- The docs say audits were done ("Rigorous third-party audits of our smart contracts have been completed") but name no auditor.
Who is behind ChimpX?
ChimpX's blog names "Akshay Nassa, CEO & Co-Founder", and Dhruval Gupta wrote on X that he has "been building this quietly as CTO at @ChimpxAI." In May 2026 ChimpX announced a $2.8 million seed round: "The round was co-led by Waterdrip Capital and MetaLabs Ventures, with participation from Mindfulness Capital, NEURALHASH Capital, Marshland Capital, Maven Capital, Attention Venture, and BRINC." We found no independent report of that round.
