Is there a RISEx airdrop?
A token is coming, but the terms for traders aren't public. RISE referred to its "upcoming native token" in November 2025, when it set aside 1.5% of supply for holders of BSX, a perps exchange it bought. The RISEx docs have a section headed "RISE airdrop allocation", which says 100% of RISE points go to RISEx users: traders, liquidity providers and builder-code integrators. No share or launch date is public.
Season 1, called Ignite, began on 20 July 2026. It pays out 200,000 points a week and ends no later than Q2 2027.
What RISEx is
RISEx is a perpetual futures exchange with its order book, matching and settlement all onchain. It runs on RISE, an Ethereum optimistic layer 2 from the same team, whose sequencers are centralized for now. USDC is the collateral. Crypto markets go up to 25x leverage, and there are also gold, oil, ETF and single-stock markets.
How RISEx points work
Each weekly pool is split by your share of maker and taker volume, fees and slippage paid, open interest and position hold time. Referrers get an extra 10% of their referrals' points. RISE changes the model weekly and doesn't publish the weightings.
RISEx airdrop step-by-step guide
- Get an invite code. RISEx is in gated mainnet, and codes come from existing traders, the team or the waitlist referral leaderboard.
- Go to rise.trade, click Trade Now and sign in with Google or an EVM wallet.
- Enter the code, enable trading and switch to the RISE network.
- Deposit USDC from your wallet or to a deposit address.
- Trade. Your balance updates after each weekly drop on the points page.

RISEx costs and fees
At the base fee tier takers pay 0.03% and makers 0.01%, with discounts at higher 14-day volume. Because fees and slippage count toward points, more points generally means paying more to trade. Leveraged positions can be liquidated, and losses can exceed what the points turn out to be worth.
RISEx risks and eligibility
- The terms bar people in the US, the UK, Canada, Russia, Vietnam, Venezuela and sanctioned countries, among others. From a restricted location the app allows withdrawals only.
- The FAQ says third-party audits of the RISEx contracts are still in progress.
- The terms allow KYC or source-of-funds checks.
- There's no published conversion from points to tokens.
Who is behind RISEx?
RISE is led by co-founder and CEO Sam Battenally; CTO Hai Nguyen previously founded MELD. A $4 million investment from Galaxy Ventures in June 2025 brought RISE's total funding to $8 million, according to its blog, and the docs also name Finality Capital, DACM and Vitalik Buterin as backers.
