Is there a Sandwatch airdrop?
None confirmed. Sandwatch plans a token, $WATCH, but its own page says: "The Sandwatch token. It is not live yet." What it runs now is a points program called Popcorn, and the docs only say Popcorn "also counts toward rewards still to come."
The terms are more careful still: "No Seat tier constitutes a guarantee of future benefits, token allocations, airdrops, or financial returns." That is a change. In July 2025 Sandwatch sold its Premium Seat NFT on X with a "Guaranteed allocation at the $WATCH TGE". In March 2026 it said: "Season 2 defines the product layer for Sandwatch. $WATCH activates it in Season 3." No date has followed.
Warning Sandwatch has run points for about two years without a token. Don't buy a plan or an NFT expecting $WATCH; the terms promise nothing.
What Sandwatch is
"Sandwatch is an AI video platform for creators, brands and crypto communities." You describe a video or use single tools for video, images and voice, and pay in credits. On 26 October 2026 it opened to everyone: "Today we are launching Sandwatch." It also pitches itself to crypto projects as a content kit for their tokens.
Season 1 of the points ended on 14 October: "Season 1 is officially closed." Sandwatch says: "Season 1 was about people. Almost 730K of you joined." Season 2 started with the public launch.
How Sandwatch Popcorn points work
"Popcorn builds up every second, even while you are away. Your multiplier sets how fast: at 5.00x you earn 5 Popcorn a second." "Your multiplier is the sum of the tasks you hold. Most tasks count for good once you finish them." Everyone starts again: "Everyone starts Season 2 at 1x." Season 1 Popcorn stays in a recap and doesn't carry over.
The free tasks are verifying your email, connecting X, Discord and Telegram, following Sandwatch and its AI agent Sandy on X, joining the Discord, and inviting friends. "Each friend counts once they finish 3 different tasks." The bigger boosts cost money: generating images and videos (a video task "has to cost at least 15 credits"), a paid plan, or holding a Premium Seat NFT. Those last two drop off if you stop paying or sell: "Stop your plan or sell a Premium Seat, and that task comes off your multiplier."
There's a weekly race too: "Everyone starts the week at zero, and the top 10 get 500 credits and a winner badge." Season 2 has no published end date.
Sandwatch airdrop step-by-step guide
No airdrop is confirmed. These steps earn Season 2 Popcorn, free tasks first.
- Open sandwatch.com and sign in "With Google, Discord, X, an email code or a Solana wallet."
- Start Season 2 from your profile, then verify your email.
- Connect X, Discord and Telegram, follow @SandwatchAI and @codexsandy, and join the Discord. Each adds to your multiplier.
- Share your invite link if you want; a friend only counts after finishing three tasks.
- Only if you'd use the app anyway: buy credits and make images or videos, which add more.
Warning "Credits spent on a finished generation, and payments for plans, aren't refundable." A Premium Seat isn't sold by Sandwatch: "Sandwatch doesn't sell seats directly, so you pay the seller's price."

Sandwatch costs and fees
Signing up and the social tasks cost nothing. Credits are bought in packs or with a monthly plan, and "Plan credits expire 30 days after they reach your account." The app's own code lists videos "from 48 credits". The Premium Seat is a Solana NFT, "2,222 in total and never minted again", bought from other holders on Magic Eden.
Inviting paying users earns real money: "10% to start, up to 15% as your invites' subscriptions add up. A Premium Seat adds 5% at every level." Payouts come in USDC on Solana, and the first one asks for your full name and postal address.
Sandwatch risks and eligibility
- "You must be at least 16 years old and legally permitted to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction."
- "You may not use the Platform if you are located in, or a national of, a country subject to sanctions by the UAE, United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom, or OFAC." There's no list of countries by name.
- "One person may hold one account." Multi-accounting and "exploitation of reward, referral, or point systems" can get an account closed, and accounts flagged as bots earn nothing.
- The terms were rewritten on launch day ("Last Updated: 26 October 2026"), and Sandwatch can change seat perks with 30 days' notice.
- Most of the leaderboard is driven by spending and by referrals, so free accounts sit low.
Who is behind Sandwatch?
"Sandwatch LTD is the data controller responsible for personal data processed under this policy." Its terms are governed by the laws of Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates. Sandwatch doesn't name its founders or team, and we found no funding round or audit. An older token, $SANDY, was launched in January 2025 as "$SANDY by Sandwatch"; it isn't $WATCH.
