Is there a Spicenet airdrop?
None confirmed for the current points. A token is planned: "dao5 led our $5M Series A to bring Spice Edge to market and launch the $SPICE token." On 24 October 2026 Spicenet posted: "TGE is happening in Q1." The post gives no year, so Q1 2027 is the natural reading, not a stated date. It replaces an earlier Q3 2026 target, and Spicenet apologised: "we're sorry for missing the TGE timeline in our previous roadmap".
Nothing official says Spice Points convert to SPICE. The portal launch post said only that "early participation will pay off", and the terms say: "Rewards are discretionary, subject to availability, and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at Spicenet's sole discretion." In April 2026 Spicenet promised details on how the community can take part "in a dedicated post". We didn't find one.
Older promises still circulate. Docs from 2025, now only on archive copies, showed a "5% Airdrop" for Discord roles, and a June 2025 article offered top role holders "12,500 liquid $SPICE tokens on TGE". Those date from before the current products, and we found nothing restating them, so treat them as history.
Warning No SPICE contract is published and no SPICE sale is open. Any SPICE claim page or presale you see today isn't confirmed by Spicenet.
What Spicenet is
Spicenet says: "The world's financial markets are moving onchain. Spicenet built the brokerage network for this new era." It has several parts, at different stages:
- Spice Flow: lets apps take users and funds from eight chains without manual bridging. It has been in public beta since 17 August 2026, with Reppo, Pare, Satsuma and Fun Markets.
- Spice Edge: a cross-venue margin product, described on 27 October as "nearing beta launch".
- Spice Stocks: a tokenized-stock app. Its page says live beta, while the funding release says it's "in development".
- Spicenet L1: a sovereign rollup on Celestia used for settlement, "live on mainnet since May 2026".
The portal at portal.spicenet.io is where people collect points. It shows 356,651 users, but real use is much smaller. Spicenet's own results list 1.9k participants in its last campaign, and the release cites "more than $160K in beta transaction volume".
How Spice Points work
There are no seasons. The portal runs short partner campaigns, summed up as: "Explore partner apps and earn points for qualifying transactions." Most of the free work has gone. The old quest page now redirects to the leaderboard, and the daily check-in schedule ended on 1 April 2026.
The campaign live now is Fun Markets x Spice Flow, open from 30 October: "Complete both tasks to earn 5,000 Spice Points." The two tasks are a stake and then a hedge on Fun Markets, a real-money prediction market on Base. The deadline: "Complete your stake and hedge by the end of November 2 (Toronto time)." That is 05:00 UTC on 3 November. Afterwards, "You can claim afterward once the staked market settles."
Other ways to earn are thin. The portal's public data shows 200 points when a friend you refer reaches 1,000 points, though we couldn't confirm that without logging in. The last campaign, with Pare, paid 5,000 points for three transactions of at least $5 each, and it closed on 8 October. Satsuma has teased a next one with no date: "Stay tuned, we have a campaign cooking together".
Spicenet airdrop step-by-step guide
No airdrop is confirmed for Spice Points. These steps earn the 5,000 points in the live campaign, open until 2 November. Later campaigns will have their own rules, so check the portal after that date.
- Check your region against the Fun Markets list below. It blocks many countries by IP address.
- Log in at portal.spicenet.io with email or a wallet.
- Open funmarkets.io, choose Connect via Privy, and fund your Fun account through Spice Flow. "Activity through the direct WalletConnect login does not qualify for this campaign." Use the same external wallet on both sites.
- "Stake at least $2 worth of FUN in any available market." The market must settle before it counts, and a withdrawn stake doesn't count.
Warning This is real money on a prediction: "You can lose your staked funds if your prediction is wrong." Don't stake more than you can lose for points of unknown value.
- "Then hedge at least $1 worth of FUN." A hedge made before the stake doesn't count.
- Go back to the campaign page on the portal, wait for the market to settle, then claim your points.

Spicenet costs and fees
The portal account has no stated fee. The campaign costs real money, and Spicenet suggests you "target a deposit worth more than $3". Fun Markets adds its own charges: "A 10% protocol fee applies to staking only." And on the portal: "Exiting a hedge incurs a 5% exit fee."
Losses stay lost: "Neither Fun Markets nor Spicenet will refund losses from an incorrect prediction." FUN's price can move as well. Spice Flow is sold as needing no gas tokens, but its docs say: "Source transfers and direct wallet transactions can require native gas."
Spicenet risks and eligibility
- Fun Markets blocks 47 countries and six US states by IP. They include the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, China, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Vietnam, plus Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. Using a VPN to get past that breaks its terms, and you must be 18.
- The portal terms have no country list, age limit or date. Spice Stocks says only: "Available to eligible non-US users in permitted jurisdictions."
- Points may be worth nothing: "Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Rewards have no monetary value". Spicenet can also "invalidate Rewards", and the terms ban bots and scripts.
- The token date has already slipped once, and Q1 has no year in writing.
- Fun Markets settles by hand: "Markets are resolved manually using official match outcomes."
- Spice Flow can ask for an EIP-7702 authorization. Read what you sign, and test with a small amount.
- Watch for stale links. Some footers still point to the old X handle @spicenetio, and t.me/spicenet isn't Spicenet. The official accounts are @spicenet on X and t.me/spicenet_io on Telegram.
- Audits exist but found serious bugs. Hashlock reported 11 High and 3 Medium issues, and Pashov 15 issues, 2 of them High. Spicenet's pages show none for Spice Edge or Spice Stocks.
Who is behind Spicenet?
The portal terms say "Spice Net Holding FZ-LLC acts as the Data Controller", under UAE law. The funding release is datelined Road Town, British Virgin Islands, and the team page describes a house in Bengaluru, India. No page explains how those fit together, or which entity would issue SPICE. Matt McConnell is the one person named on the team page. His title varies: "CEO of Spicenet" in the release, Chief Operating Officer on the team page, co-founder elsewhere.
Business Wire reported: "Spicenet has completed a $5M Series A led by dao5", with Babylon and Astrarizon, on 27 October 2026. Earlier seed money came from Hack VC and Magnus Capital, and Spicenet gives that round as $3M in some places and $3.4M in others.
