Is there a 4D Labs airdrop?
None confirmed. Posts on X call Season 1 a confirmed airdrop, but those posts come from promoters. We found no airdrop announcement on the 4D Labs site, in its docs, in its Telegram channel or in the X posts we could read.
On Score, the docs say: "Score is an important measure of your contributions and will serve as a key criterion for earning future rewards." They don't say what those rewards are. The terms are blunter: "no submission, score, ranking, or point balance guarantees payment, future rewards, customer licensing, or token allocation". They add that points are not "a promise of future tokens".
A token is planned on paper. The whitepaper says "the $4D token dynamically incentivizes by data quality and scarcity, with season-based leaderboards driving sustained participation". Seasons and a token are both in the plan, but nothing official connects Season 1 Score to $4D. No launch date, chain, contract, supply or allocation is published.
Warning We found no published $4D contract, so treat any $4D token, claim or presale offered today as fake.
What 4D Labs is
4D Labs calls itself "the real-world embodied data layer for physical AI". It records people doing real work, such as restocking shelves or doing laundry, and licenses that data to companies training robots. Capture runs on head-mounted Ego Suite devices, with tactile gloves for hand data.
The site also plans a route for ordinary users: "Anyone with a phone can upload scans and earn token rewards." Its App Store and Google Play buttons both read coming soon, so scanning isn't open yet. Season 1 has no scanning tasks.
How 4D Labs Score works
Season 1, titled Prelude, went live on 26 October 2026. The docs say it "will primarily feature foundational tasks", and the app's season settings show no end date.
- A daily check-in pays 5 Score. You pick a landmark on one of six continents, once every 24 hours on UTC time.
- Seven check-ins in a row add 10 bonus Score, and the streak can repeat.
- Following @4Dlabs_Official on X pays 50 Score once, or 100 with a verified account.
- Reposting the chosen post pays 25 Score once, or 50 with a verified account.
- Joining the Discord server pays 50 Score once, and so does joining the Telegram channel.
- Referrals pay 10% of what your direct invites earn and 1% of what their invites earn. Alpha Users get 12% and 1.2%, and verified X accounts get 20% and 2%.
One person working alone earns 220 Score in the first week, or 295 with a verified X account, then 45 a week. Referrals are far bigger. On 2 November the top account had 6,804.04 Score, and 6,534.04 of that came from referrals. The second had 6,513.70, all of it from referrals.
Referral pay counts only Score from check-ins and social tasks, and "Score earned through referral rewards will not generate additional referral rewards."
An Alpha User is someone who "participated in the 4D Labs Alpha campaign and holds the ALPHA OAT". That campaign ran on Galxe. We couldn't check whether it's still open, because Galxe was down for maintenance on 2 November.
4D Labs airdrop step-by-step guide
No 4D Labs airdrop is confirmed. These steps earn Season 1 Score.
- Open dapp.4dlabs.space/tasks directly.
Warning We found no task that asks for a seed phrase. Anyone who asks for yours is running a scam.
- Log in with "a crypto wallet, a traditional email address, or a social media account such as Google or X". Check-ins need a connected EVM wallet, so use a spare one instead of your main wallet.
- Put a little BNB in that wallet on BNB Chain. Each check-in is a transaction, and you pay the gas.
- Pick a continent and press Check In each day. The docs recommend "checking in on the continent where you are located", but all six pay the same.
- Join the Discord server and the Telegram channel from the Social section. That's 100 Score without touching your X account.
- Read this before you do the X tasks.
Warning On 27 October 4D Labs wrote: "The current authorization includes permissions for sensitive account actions". It promised to cut them back and tell the community when that's done. We found no such notice by 2 November, and the docs still say: "You can authorize the connection with confidence." The X tasks are worth 75 Score, or 150 with a verified account, so waiting for that notice costs little. If you go ahead, read the permission screen first.

4D Labs costs and fees
The project says: "Only a small network gas fee applies. 4D Labs charges no check-in fee." Social tasks cost nothing, and we found no deposit, mint or stake in Season 1. We didn't sign a check-in, so we can't give a gas figure. Checking in daily means one paid transaction a day for as long as the season runs, so keep only a small amount of BNB in that wallet.
That may change. The docs say "some upcoming tasks will require on-chain interactions".
4D Labs risks and eligibility
- Excluded: no country list is published. You "must be at least 18 years old", and you can't take part where it's "prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, export controls, or an agreement binding on you". Features may also be "geographically limited".
- 4D Labs may require "identity, eligibility, rights, tax, sanctions, or fraud checks" before it issues a reward.
- Points have no value of their own. The terms call them "promotional" and say they "cannot be sold or redeemed for money".
- 4D Labs may "change earning criteria prospectively, cap rewards, or end a program".
- The terms say separate campaign terms will cover any campaign that offers money or tokens. We found none for Season 1.
- You may not "use bots or multiple accounts to obtain rewards unfairly", and 4D Labs can "reverse fraudulently obtained points".
- Later phone scans carry a privacy cost. Captured data can show your "precise location" and "home layout", the privacy policy says.
Who is behind 4D Labs?
The site, docs and whitepaper name no team. Odaily's report on the EASY Residency Season 2 cohort, dated 3 December 2025, lists Bruce Bai as CEO and Ian Y. Xu, Xin Zhou and Haoming as co-founders. It describes Bai as a Zhejiang University PhD who founded two computer vision startups.
Funding came through that program. On 11 September 2026 the project wrote that it "has received investment from @yzilabs through @EASYResidency Season 2". No amount is published. The whitepaper describes YZi Labs as "formerly Binance Labs".
Delaware law governs the terms, which name only "4Dlabs", with no company type or address. We found no audit of the check-in contract in the docs.
