Is there a Bybit WSOT 2026 airdrop?
No. There's no WSOT token, no points and nothing to claim for free. WSOT 2026 is a trading competition with prizes in USDT. Bybit says: "WSOT is back with more markets, more ways to compete, and a total prize pool of up to 10,000,000 USDT." The word airdrop appears in its terms only as a way to pay rewards: "Airdrops, vouchers won through lucky draws, and competition rewards will be distributed within 30 days after the event ends."
It runs from 29 October 2026 at 10:00 UTC to 2 December 2026 at 10:00 UTC.

What Bybit WSOT is
Bybit says: "The World Series of Trading (WSOT) is Bybit's annual global crypto trading competition." The 2026 theme is The World Trades Here, and stocks, gold and AI-run accounts join crypto for the first time. Bybit reports 520,451 participants for last year's edition. That number is its own, and we can't check it.
How the WSOT 2026 prizes work
The 10 million USDT is a ceiling. Bybit says: "Five tracks share the maximum prize pool, which unlocks as total trading volume grows". We couldn't find the volume thresholds, so we can't say how much is unlocked now.
- Preheat Quest, up to 800,000 USDT. Runs for the whole event, and it's the only track that needs no leaderboard rank. "Complete tasks across 5 categories: New & Invite, Spot, Derivatives, TradFi, and Bybit AI." Each task also gives a ticket for a weekly draw. The winner "receives USDT or USDC equal to the value of that week's featured prize". Main accounts only.
- Squad Showdown, up to 3,200,000 USDT. 13 November to 2 December. Squads are scored on their top 10 traders and how many eligible members they have. "Members must reach at least 50,000 USDT in qualifying trading volume to qualify as eligible traders." The leader takes 20% of each squad's reward, the top 10 share 20%, and all eligible members share 60%.
- Individual Showdown, up to 2,000,000 USDT. 13 November to 2 December. Traders rank on profit in three weight classes set by account equity: "Up to 400 of the top participants by P&L in each tier will share the prize pool upon meeting the trading volume requirements."
- Global Assets, up to 3,000,000 USDT. Spot and stocks (up to 1M USDT) run 5 to 26 November, ranked by volume. TradFi perps (up to 2M USDT) run 19 November to 2 December, and "Maker volume will not count toward the leaderboard."
- AI Showdown, up to 1,000,000 USDT. 13 November to 2 December. A profit leaderboard for AI subaccounts: "Each AI Subaccount must register separately and maintain a minimum UTA balance of 100 USDT to enter the leaderboard." Those subaccounts "cannot enter the Lucky Draw, Individual Showdown, or Squad Showdown."
Squad creation closes on 11 November at 10:00 UTC. All windows open and close at 10:00 UTC.
Bybit WSOT 2026 airdrop step-by-step guide
There's no airdrop here. These steps get you into the competition.
- Check you can enter. You can't if you live in the EEA or another restricted region, or if you're a market maker, an institution or Pro 3 or above.
Warning Don't use a VPN. Bybit's restricted-countries page says a false location can lead to "termination of any Account immediately and liquidating any open positions".
- Complete identity checks. "Users must complete Identity Verification Lv. 1 to be eligible for WSOT." Only Unified Trading Accounts (UTA) count.
- Register on the WSOT 2026 event page. Type bybit.com yourself and avoid links from strangers. "Register each eligible account separately. You may register up to 1 UTA Main Account and 6 UTA Subaccounts."
- Choose how to compete. "Traders can join a squad and compete solo at the same time, or compete solo only." To join a squad, Bybit's announcement gives 19 November at 10:00 UTC. Its Learn guide says members can't leave or switch after 13 November at 09:30 UTC, so join before then to be safe.
- Do the Preheat Quest tasks on your main account.
- For leaderboards, fund the account: "To activate a PnL or PnL% leaderboard entry, you need to maintain at least 100 USDT in equity for five minutes."
- Trade in your track's window and meet its volume minimum. Rewards are paid within 30 days after the end.

Bybit WSOT 2026 costs and fees
Registering is free: "There is no minimum equity to register." Competing isn't. Leaderboards need at least 100 USDT of your own money, squad members need 50,000 USDT of qualifying volume, and every trade pays Bybit's normal fees. We didn't find a fee rate in the event pages. Bybit is plain about it: "Rewards do not compensate for trading losses."
Warning Leaderboards reward high volume and high returns, which pushes traders towards leverage and more fees. You can lose everything you put in. Trade only money you can afford to lose.
Bybit WSOT 2026 risks and eligibility
- Excluded by the event terms: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. "Participation by users residing in the EEA is strictly prohibited."
- Bybit's general list also excludes the United States, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Crimea and occupied areas of Ukraine, Sudan and Syria. The event terms say only "restricted countries and regions", so the event list may be longer.
- A rank isn't a payout: "Achieving a leaderboard position does not automatically guarantee a reward." Winners are "subject to post-event review and settlement."
- Wash trading, self-trading, multiple accounts and collusion are banned. If two traders use similar strategies, only the better one may stay in. Cancelling more than 10 orders a minute can also get you disqualified.
- Bybit "reserves the right to modify the terms of this event without prior notice", and you're responsible for tax on rewards.
- We couldn't read the event page itself, because it redirected to the home page from our location. The weight-class ranges, unlock thresholds and some volume minimums come from there, so check them yourself before you fund an account.
Who is behind Bybit WSOT?
WSOT is run by Bybit, a centralized exchange. CNBC named Ben Zhou as its chief executive in February 2025. Blockhead reported in October 2026 that its Dubai licence lets "its local entity, Bybit Fintech FZE, to offer spot trading in the emirate", which doesn't cover derivatives. The pages we read don't say which Bybit company runs WSOT.
Bybit lost about $1.5 billion to a theft in February 2025. The FBI said North Korea "was responsible for the theft of approximately $1.5 billion USD in virtual assets from cryptocurrency exchange, Bybit, on or about February 21, 2025." Anything you keep on an exchange depends on that exchange staying secure.
