Is there a Forte airdrop?
Not one Forte has announced. What it runs is an XP program on Fairground, its perpetuals exchange, which is still a testnet. Forte has published no token for it, and the program's terms go further: taking part "does not create any expectation of an airdrop, distribution, or compensation".
Season 4 is open now and runs to 9 November 2026. Fairground calls it the last one before launch: "Season 4 marks Fairground's final testnet phase as the exchange prepares for its next chapter." What comes after hasn't been described: "Details on Fairground's next phase and future participation opportunities will be announced soon."
Warning Most new readers can't join without an invite. Each eligible trader gets two free referral links; never pay anyone for one.
What Forte's Fairground is
Forte is the blockchain gaming company behind forte.io, and Fairground is its newer product. The docs describe it this way: "Fairground is a decentralized perpetuals exchange on Arbitrum, currently in testnet on Arbitrum Sepolia." Its pitch is a perps exchange with "no periodic funding payments, built around a single oracle price". In Season 4 you can trade BTC, ETH, SOL and HYPE, plus gold and silver.
Testing started in spring. On 24 April Forte's X account posted "Introducing: Fairground", Season 0 trading ended on 18 May, and Season 3 "ran from August 27 to September 17, 2026 and has ended."
How Fairground XP works
"Season 4 runs from Monday, October 26, 2026, at 16:00 UTC through Monday, November 9, 2026, at 15:59:59 UTC." It is split into two weekly epochs. After each one, XP is shared out: "XP is allocated proportionally based on a participant's trading activity relative to other traders during that period." The pool is fixed for each epoch, and the results appear on the Rewards page around 19:00 UTC on 2 and 9 November.
How much each trade is worth is secret: "The exact formula and weighting used to calculate XP are not publicly disclosed." XP also comes from bug reports, surveys and feedback. XP from earlier seasons carries over to your account.
Referrals add a little on top. A new trader who joins through a link gets a 2% boost on their trading XP, and "The referrer's 4% reward is calculated on the same basis." Each eligible trader can invite two people, and "Newly referred traders cannot extend additional invitations."
Forte airdrop step-by-step guide
There is no airdrop. These steps get you into the Season 4 XP program.
- Check that you can get in. "Season 4 is open to active traders from previous Fairground seasons, along with new traders who receive a referral invitation." Trading in an earlier season counts if you held or filled at least one order.
- New traders: register through a referral link from an eligible trader. "If selected, they will receive an email from [email protected] with access instructions." You give an email address and a wallet address; wallet age may be checked.
- Open app.fairground.fi and connect that wallet, or sign in with email, Google, X, Telegram or Discord to get a wallet made for you. Your own wallet needs Arbitrum Sepolia, chain ID 421614.
- Trade with the testnet USDC Fairground sends you: "Eligible participants are allocated 2,000 Testnet USDC each day at 16:00 UTC." Gas comes free too. Orders only count once they fill.
- Check your XP and rank on the Rewards page after 2 November and after 9 November.
Warning Use only fairground.fi, app.fairground.fi, docs.fairground.fi, forte.io and fortefoundation.io. Forte's X account was taken over in April 2026; Forte later said "control has been regained and stricter protections have been implemented." Ignore any Forte token that doesn't come from these channels.

Forte costs and fees
It costs nothing. "No. Participation uses Fairground Testnet USDC tokens, not real funds." The testnet USDC can't be withdrawn or sold, and the trading fees and rebates in the app are paid in it too. What you do give is an email address, a wallet address and, optionally, your social handles. Fairground says: "User data is retained for up to 12 months in accordance with security and compliance requirements."
Forte risks and eligibility
- Excluded are people in sanctioned places, "including without limitation Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, the Crimea, Donetsk, or Luhansk regions", and China. You must be of legal age, 18 in the US. There's no KYC.
- Being invited isn't enough on its own: "Participation in the Program is subject to approval and ongoing eligibility requirements determined by Forte Foundation in its sole discretion."
- XP can be taken away after you've earned it. The terms say: "Any such action may be taken retroactively, including after XP has been displayed, accrued, or relied upon by the participant."
- "Self-referrals are prohibited under the program terms. Wallets identified as bots, sybils, or self-referrals will be excluded from the XP program."
- The Forte Foundation terms look copied from another project: they mention "HOLDERS OF THE UNI GOVERNANCE TOKEN" and never name Fairground.
Who is behind Forte?
Forte was launched in 2019 by Kevin Chou, who co-founded the mobile game maker Kabam, and The Block names Josh Williams as its co-founder and CEO. The Block reported in November 2021 that Forte raised $725 million in a Series B: "Sea Capital and Kora Management co-led the round". That money was raised for blockchain gaming, not for Fairground. Three company names appear on Forte's pages: Forte Foundation, which runs the XP program; Forte Labs Inc., on forte.io; and Forte Service Company Ltd, on GitHub. No Fairground team or audit is published.
