Is there a Squeekchain airdrop?
No token airdrop is confirmed. What runs now is a whitelist race. Squeekchain announced it on 28 October 2026 with "Earn Badges → Farm Aura → Get Whitelisted". The prize is a place on the whitelist for the Squeek NFT mint, which is the right to buy an NFT, not free tokens. Nothing official says Aura or badges turn into SQK.
The token itself isn't out. The project's X bio says the "token has NOT launched yet", and on 26 October it warned about a fake one: "Squeekchain is still in testnet. No token is live. Don't get rugged."
Warning Any SQK or SQUEEK token you see trading today isn't official. The project has already flagged an impersonator token.
What Squeekchain is
The docs open with "Squeekchain is a hamster-powered proof-of-work toychain on Ethereum." A live hamster called Squeektoshi runs on a sensor wheel on stream: "A hamster-powered mining device, the WHEELY9000 records wheel activity, verifies it, and sends it to Ethereum, where it settles and produces Squeek blocks." Each block is meant to pay SQK to staked Squeek NFTs, 9,999 in total.
It is early. "Contracts are deployed on the Sepolia testnet only." The developer page adds that "there is no mainnet deployment, and public minting is paused. Contract source is not verified on block explorers". The Sepolia contracts went live on 12 October 2026, and the team streams a daily "Squeekchain Sepolia Test" on X. On 3 November the Genesis campaign had 28,702 members.
How Squeekchain Aura works
You enter by signing with a wallet and linking X: "Verify a wallet and link X to enter the ranking." Badges then give Aura, and "The fewer members hold a badge, the more Aura it's worth." The ways to earn listed on 3 November 2026:
- Sign-up badge for verifying a wallet and linking X.
- A Discord badge: "Link a Discord account at least 365 days old."
- Invite badges for 1, 5 and 25 friends, up to "Have 25 invited friends with established X accounts finish signup."
- Holder badges for wallets that held one of about 20 listed NFT collections at a snapshot, most of them on 14 October. "Each collection's holder badge is +100 Aura", up to 500. More collections were added on 2 November, and "Holder badges are distributed automatically".
- A builder badge: "Submit one project with verified attribution that the team approves."
- Exsqueektion, a game by @flashrekt that opens while the hamster runs. Squeekchain says "The top of the leaderboard will be getting WL and all active players can earn badges". Its badge is "Provisional until the Genesis WL freeze."
Your rank decides the outcome: "Your rank sets your tier: Gold, Silver or Bronze." Also, "Top players of approved Squeekchain games get a place directly." Squeekchain hasn't said how many places exist, what each tier gives, or when the whitelist freezes.
Squeekchain airdrop step-by-step guide
There is no token airdrop. These steps enter you in the Aura ranking for the Squeek mint whitelist.
- Use only squeekchain.com and docs.squeekchain.com, both linked from @squeekchain.
- Open squeekchain.com/genesis, connect a wallet and sign the verification message. The site says "It's free and sends nothing." A fresh wallet works, since no deposit is asked.
Warning Sign only a plain message, never a transaction or token approval. The project's own docs say: "Do not hold, request, derive or log a private key or seed phrase."
- Link your X account. A whitelist place needs an X account at least one year old.
- Link a Discord account that is at least 365 days old for the Discord badge.
- If you held a listed NFT at its snapshot, link that wallet. Buying one now won't count, because the snapshots have passed.
- Earn more Aura by inviting friends, playing Exsqueektion while the hamster is on stream, or building a project.

Squeekchain costs and fees
Joining the ranking costs nothing but a signature. The prize is where the money comes in. The mint is paid in ETH, and the whitepaper lists "| Sale price | TBD |". The docs say "Minting opens in phases, with limits per transaction and per address."
Earning SQK later takes more steps and more fees. "A Squeek in a wallet earns nothing, whoever holds it." It has to be staked, and "Squeek staking is in active development". "A claim costs the Ethereum network fee, paid whether it succeeds or fails." Unstaking SQK comes "less an exit fee", and "Every swap in the pool pays a 1% fee. 75% of the fees go to stakers and 25% to the team."
Squeekchain risks and eligibility
- We found no terms of service, privacy policy owner, list of excluded countries, age rule or KYC. The checks that exist are X and Discord account age, and "Wallets funded together are reviewed as one person."
- "One person, one account. Duplicates and abuse are removed." The rules are a first version, and the team says it will be "tightening up some badge criteria", so your Aura can change.
- The ranking leans on recruiting. Four badges are invite tiers.
- The docs don't agree with each other. The minting page says "8,888 will be available in the upcoming mint, with 1,111 reserved for Hamster-Owned Liquidity." The whitepaper says "8,888 will be sold to the community, 1,000 are for the protocol and 111 for the team". The API docs give a third split. On issuance, one page says "There are no halvings, multipliers, or per-block limits.", while the whitepaper says "Completed Squeek blocks issue SQK on a three-year schedule that halves every year."
- Rewards are meant to concentrate: "the concentration it brings is intended too".
- Control sits with one key on testnet: "On this testnet one owner controls governance, the Guardian and the Hamster-Owned Liquidity, and the timelock gives 60 seconds of notice." The whitepaper says "upgrades are a trust assumption, not a technical guarantee". We found no audit.
- The work can't be proven. "All work comes from one hamster on one WHEELY9000." The whitepaper admits the record "doesn't identify the animal, show the wheel's direction or establish what made it move."
- The project makes no promises: "Nothing in this paper promises a price, a return or liquidity."
Who is behind Squeekchain?
Squeekchain hasn't said. No page names a founder, a company or a jurisdiction. The only identities are the X accounts @squeekchain, created in August 2026, and @squeektoshi for the hamster. The whitepaper refers to an unnamed team that keeps 111 Squeeks and a quarter of pool fees. We found no funding round in the news and no audit. Its Discord had 2,608 members on 3 November 2026.
