XO Market airdrop guide

XO Market is a prediction market where anyone can create a Yes or No market and others trade it in USDC. Trades earn Conviction Points, which XO says have no monetary value. It has no token, and a contest on its 5-minute BTC markets pays 3,000 USDC and 30,000 points until 3 November 2026.

Is there an XO Market airdrop?

No. XO Market has no token, and nothing it has published mentions a token or an airdrop. What it runs is a points program, and its terms are blunt about the points: "Conviction Points are not legal tender and do not represent any monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash and are used solely within the Platform, including for participation in Parlays. XO may modify, restrict, or revoke CP at any time."

The real money on offer is USDC: a trading contest, rewards for liquidity providers, a maker rebate and referral payouts. All of it needs you to deposit USDC and trade.

Warning XO Market is real-money betting on outcomes, including 5-minute BTC up or down rounds. In many countries that counts as gambling, and XO leaves the legal question to you: "XO makes no representations or warranties that the use of the Platform is appropriate, lawful, or available for use in any particular jurisdiction."

What XO Market is

XO describes itself simply: "XO Market is a prediction market that allows anyone to create a market." Traders buy Yes or No shares in USDC, and "Markets are settled by a custom AI Market Engine called MODRA without any third-party." Creating your own market costs money: "We've set that minimum at $10 with a $1 market creation fee to avoid spam."

It runs on its own chain, with the app at beta.xo.market. The beta opened in November 2025, and on 21 September 2026 XO posted: "XO 2.0 is live. The YouTube of Prediction Markets." Besides regular markets it has Pulse, rolling 5-minute BTC markets, and Parlays, which you enter with points.

How XO Market points and rewards work

"Conviction Points are XO's reward and participation currency." You earn them by trading: "CP is awarded from executed trades, not from how long a position is held." Their only stated use is entering Parlays: "No fiat currency, crypto-assets or other forms of payment may be used to enter a Parlay."

The live contest is Pulse PnL Panache. XO says: "PPP is a two week trading competition on the BTC 5-minute Up/Down markets on XO." It pays "$3000 USDC and 30,000 Conviction Points" to the top 10 traders by profit, and runs until 3 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC. To be ranked you need at least 100 USDC of volume, in trades of at least 5 USDC.

Liquidity providers earn too. "An order does not need to fill to earn a liquidity reward." Resting limit orders near the price share a daily pool of USDC and points, and when they do fill, "XO returns 35% of the taker fee to the maker in USDC." XO advertised the program as a "$1M USDC and 10M Conviction Points (CP) pool", but XO's own data on 21 October showed only about $3,553 USDC and 190,350 points across the 15 markets with live pools. The Pulse pool ends on 7 November.

XO Market airdrop step-by-step guide

There's no airdrop. These steps earn points and a shot at the contest prizes.

  1. Check that you're allowed. XO blocks places "such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Singapore, Ontario (Canada), as well as any jurisdiction where the use of XO would be unlawful." You must be 18 or older, and "Do not use VPNs, proxies, Tor, or any other method to disguise your location or identity".
  2. Sign in at beta.xo.market with email, a social login or your own wallet. XO explains: "Your owner or embedded wallet proves control; the XO smart wallet holds your trading USDC".
  3. Fund the smart wallet. You can "Connect an external EVM or Solana wallet and select a supported asset." Note that "Depositing into your external owner wallet does not make the XO smart wallet tradable."
  4. For the contest, join first on the Compete tab and link your X account: "Join before placing contest trades. Executions before joining do not count." Then trade the BTC 5-minute Pulse markets.

Warning Only the top 10 win anything. XO's own contest rules say: "Trading uses real funds. Prizes may not cover losses or fees, and joining does not guarantee a reward."

  5. Spend your points on Parlays when one is open. Withdraw USDC from the account menu.

XO Market costs and fees

Nothing here is free: every reward needs USDC you deposit and trade, and "A prediction position can lose its full purchase cost." Fees fall on one side: "Only the taker pays a trading fee. The maker pays no trading fee." The rate is set per market, and "Pulse markets have a 6% taker base rate." That works out to $3 on a $100 buy at 50 cents. "No separate Contest entry fee is charged."

XO Market risks and eligibility

  • No licence or regulator is named, and the full list of blocked places isn't published. Sanctioned countries are out too, "(e.g., Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria)".
  • Prizes can wait on an ID check: "XO may require you to complete identity verification or provide additional information before distributing any reward".
  • If XO voids a market, "all unresolved positions will be settled on a 50/50 basis between participants, regardless of position taken."
  • The terms don't name the company behind XO, and disputes go to arbitration: "The seat of the arbitration shall be Zug, Switzerland." No audit of its contracts is named.
  • The advertised reward totals are far bigger than the pools that were live on 21 October.
  • Use only beta.xo.market, docs.xo.market and the X account @xomarket. "XO support will never ask for your seed phrase or private key."

Who is behind XO Market?

CoinDesk reported on 30 April 2026 that XO "closed a $6 million seed round led by 20VC, Picus Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Venture Together", and named Ali Habbabeh as a co-founder. XO's docs list its backers as "20VC (Harry Stebbings), Picus Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Delphi Digital, and cyber Fund". The terms refer only to "the operators of XO" and give no company name or address.
