Is the Solstice airdrop claim open?

Yes. Solstice opened claims for Season 2 of its Flares campaign on 10 August 2026, and its docs list 10 January 2027 as the day "Season 2 claims close". The docs timeline runs on Singapore time, 9pm unless noted, which is 13:00 UTC.

Solstice calls itself "the yield layer of Solana". SLX is its governance token, with a supply fixed at 1 billion and a launch date of 25 May 2026. A tenth of that supply, 100,000,000 SLX, is set aside for airdrops to Flares campaigns, and the claim portal says 3.25% of total supply is allocated to this one.

Who can claim the Solstice Season 2 airdrop?

Wallets that earned Flares in Season 2, which stopped earning on 1 August 2026. Those Flares were converted into an SLX allocation. The docs set a floor: "Wallets with less than 1 SLX of allocation are not eligible to claim."

There was no sign-up to miss. The docs say "Season 2 does not use a separate registration window", so an eligible wallet goes straight to the claim. Season 1 is different: its registration has closed, and only wallets that registered are still collecting what unlocks.

The campaign terms require you to be at least 18 and to use a supported Solana wallet. They allow one identity per person and prohibit using several wallets to increase rewards. They also say no KYC is required "unless Solstice determines otherwise".

Warning The allocation belongs to the wallet that earned it. Solstice's docs say: "Compromised or replaced wallets cannot be swapped after the claim list is locked."

How to claim the Solstice airdrop

  1. Check your Season 2 allocation on the Flares dashboard at app.solstice.finance/earn-flares before you pay anything. The docs warn that "dust allocations may not be worth the fee."
  2. Open the Claims Portal from the Solstice app. The Claim button on the Season 2 allocation panel leads to claim.solstice.finance/flow.

Warning Reach the portal through the Solstice app and check the address before you connect. Solstice's docs say only the channels on its contact page are official, and that you should only use contract addresses published through them.

  3. Connect the wallet that earned the Flares, and make sure you're looking at Season 2. The portal also has a Season 1 tab.
  4. Pay the claim fee of about $1.
  5. Claim the SLX that has unlocked so far. To check the token, compare it with the address in Solstice's docs:

  6. Come back for the rest. The docs say: "Return to the Claims Portal any time to claim unlocked SLX."

Solstice SLX vesting: 6 or 9 months

None of the allocation arrives in one go. The first unlock came on 20 August 2026 and covered the opening days of the schedule. After that the SLX is released daily under one of two plans.

  • The 9-month plan has no conditions. The docs put it in three words: "No TVL requirement."
  • The 6-month plan unlocks faster, but you keep it only by holding enough eligible funds in Solstice, measured against your Season 2 time-weighted average.

The window for choosing a plan ran from 10 to 18 August 2026 and is closed. The docs don't say which plan a wallet gets if it claims for the first time now. The portal shows your plan and what you can claim once you connect.

Warning On the 6-month plan, a drop in your eligible funds can cost you tokens. The docs say "Claims pause while TVL is below the requirement" and "Unvested tokens are forfeited if the TVL minimum is not restored". The Claims Portal doesn't show your TVL, so watch it on the Flares dashboard.

Solstice claim deadline

Season 2 claims close on 10 January 2027. Solstice's docs don't say what happens to SLX that is still unclaimed then. They also don't explain how that date fits with the vesting plans, which keep releasing tokens into 2027, well past 10 January.

Until Solstice clears that up, don't leave your first claim for the last days, and collect what has unlocked before the close.

Solstice claim costs and fees

The docs say: "There is a claim fee of about $1." They don't name the currency it is paid in or who receives it. You also pay the Solana network fee for each claim transaction, and Solstice's terms leave transaction fees to the user.

Solstice claim restrictions

The Season 2 terms bar anyone located or resident in "any restricted jurisdiction designated by Solstice or prohibited by applicable law", without listing countries. The only published list is in the Solstice Foundation's general terms. It includes the United States, Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Cuba and Syria.

The claim site has its own block pages for restricted regions and for VPNs. The VPN page tells visitors to switch the VPN off before returning.

Is there a Solstice Season 3 airdrop?

Yes, and it is still running. The docs say Season 3 runs "from Aug 1, 2026 at 9pm SGT through Dec 1, 2026", after which Flares convert to SLX allocations under that season's terms. The claim details haven't been published yet.
