Is there a Loaf Markets airdrop?
None announced, and there is no token. We found no token or airdrop statement on any official page we could read, though we couldn't read its X account. The closest hint is on the League page: "every point you earn also banks into your all-time Loaf total. That total will matter."
The terms point the other way. They say points "cannot be purchased, sold, redeemed for, or exchanged into cash, securities, tokens or any other asset". They add that taking part "does not create any right, allocation, priority, reward, expectation or guarantee in respect of any future product, asset, token or service".
What does pay is the League of Loaf competition: "Trading uses mock assets and test funds, so no real capital is at risk. The prizes are real."
Warning Several Solana tokens are called LOAF, and none is linked from a Loaf Markets page. Anything sold as a Loaf Markets token isn't official as far as we can see.
What Loaf Markets is
Loaf says: "Loaf is a self-custodial, hybrid decentralized exchange (DEX) for real-world asset (RWA) trading." The plan is to list property and energy projects as tradable tokens. Today it is a private beta on the Arbitrum Sepolia test network, with no mainnet date. The terms are blunt: "NO REAL MONEY, REAL ASSETS, OR REAL SECURITIES ARE INVOLVED."
Don't be misled by the headline "Fractional ownership from $100." Nothing is on sale. Loaf's public data showed no active offerings on 1 November. When sales do start, the docs say: "Only accredited wholesale investors can purchase property tokens in primary sales." Each listing would also be a contract, not a share of a building: "Each listing is a regulated security rooted in a deferred purchase agreement (DPA)."
How League of Loaf works
"League of Loaf is a simulated trading competition on Loaf testnet." Its stated pool: "The total prize pool is 50,000 USDC, distributed across the five rounds."
- Round 1 (from 13 August): 4,000 USDC to the top 3. Ended.
- Round 2 (from 7 September): 5,000 USDC to the top 200. Ended.
- Round 3 (29 October to 5 November, 00:00 UTC): 3,000 USDC to the top 200. First place gets 750 USDC, and places 101 to 200 get 3 USDC each.
- Rounds 4 and 5: "announced individually as the competition progresses." Loaf's status feed shows nothing coming soon. By our arithmetic, 38,000 USDC is left for them if the total holds.
In Round 3 you start with 100,000 in mock USDC and can only trade WDEH, "a fictional 1GW solar, wind and green hydrogen project in the Mojave". The score is "Points = Profit (USDC) + √(volume)".
Seats are the catch. Only people with a seat can trade: "only admitted accounts may place orders". "The queue is open now", so if you join today you're queuing for a later round. After each round, "Bottom 30% of each round lose their seat and return to the back of the queue." In Round 3, "You must place a trade during the round to receive a rank."
Referrals move you up the queue and pay no money. The docs say "up to five can be used", while the app promises a bigger boost.
Loaf Markets airdrop step-by-step guide
No Loaf airdrop exists. These steps put you in the League of Loaf queue.
- Open beta.loafmarkets.com/league and press Join Competition.
- Sign up. The docs say you can "register with email or connect a Web3 wallet".
Warning This is a testnet. The app warns: "Do NOT send any real funds to your address as you won't be able to recover them".
- Link X if you want to use referrals. It's optional.
- Wait in the queue. The app shows your estimated round and says it will notify you when you have a seat.
- When you have a seat, trade during the round with the mock funds you're given. Place at least one trade, or you won't get a rank.
- If you finish in the paid places, use Claim Prize. "Winning players have 30 days from the conclusion of a round to nominate a valid payout destination". After that the prize is lost, so Round 3 winners have until about 5 December.
- Follow @loafmarkets for Round 4 dates.

Loaf Markets costs and fees
It's free. The terms call the beta "A FREE, EXPERIMENTAL, SIMULATED TESTING ENVIRONMENT". You get test funds for nothing, and they "cannot be purchased, sold, withdrawn, redeemed, transferred for value, or converted". Trades carry fees of 0.05% maker and 0.1% taker, paid in mock money.
Mainnet fees aren't published. Future property sales would be for wholesale investors only, at "1000 property units" or more, with KYC.
Loaf Markets risks and eligibility
- No country list is published. The terms bar sanctioned people and "a jurisdiction we have designated as restricted", without naming them, and the docs say "Participation may be unavailable or restricted in certain jurisdictions or regions". We found no statement on US users either way.
- "you must be at least 18 years old", and VPNs used to hide your location are banned.
- Most players earn nothing. Only the top 200 were paid in Round 3, and most of those places pay 3 to 5 USDC.
- Prize rules are thin: "Prizes, where offered, are subject to separate terms and conditions." We couldn't find those terms, or proof that past winners were paid.
- Rules can move: "Mechanics, point values, and prize splits may change during a round." Loaf can also cancel or suspend the competition.
- One claim is already wrong. The League page says "Prizes grow every round", but pools went 4,000, 5,000 and then 3,000 USDC.
- Farming gets you removed. The terms list "wash trading, volume faking, multi-account (farming) operation".
- Listings on the beta are simulated, even when they show real-sounding addresses. Loaf calls its products regulated, but names no issuer, licence or regulator.
- We found no audit of its settlement contracts.
Who is behind Loaf Markets?
Gavin Lee is named as "Gavin Lee, Loaf CEO". The About page lists Gavin L and Cohen R as "Co-Founders · CEO & CTO". The terms name only "Loaf Markets", with no company number or address, and they "are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands".
The only funding we found is a grant of undisclosed size: "Loaf has also accepted a grant from the Arbitrum Foundation." We found no named investors.
